RIVF 2015 requires compliance with the IEEE PDF Specification for IEEE Xplore

IMPORTANT: Before you submit your final PDF, it is mandatory to use IEEE PDF eXpress™ to have it checked for compliance with the above specification.

IEEE PDF eXpress™ is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEEXplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEEXplore compatibility (PDF Check function).

# Steps for submission:

• Must be compliant with the IEEE PDF Specification for IEEEXplore (see above descriptions).
• Adding the IEEE copyright line to the left bottom of the first page (mandatory)
1. For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
2. For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-4799-8044-4/15/$31.00 ©2015 Crown 3. For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-4799-8044-4/15/$31.00 ©2015 IEEE

Example: Let suppose you are in the 3rd group (above), so just add these Latex lines before the \maketitle:

\IEEEoverridecommandlockouts
\IEEEpubid{\makebox[\columnwidth]{978-1-4799-8044-4/15/\\$31.00~
\hspace{\columnsep}\makebox[\columnwidth]{ }}

For .doc users, using Textbox.

2. Check for Xplore compatibility using PDF eXpress:
• All of the paper must be compatible with IEEE rules, so the authors should check their paper using PDF eXpress.
• Conference ID: 34497X
• Site opens: 2014-10-29, Submission deadline: 2014-11-23
• After checking, using that pdf for camera-ready version.

IMPORTANT: Any changes made to a PDF after IEEE PDF eXpress conversion or PDF Checking may invalidate Xplore compatibility. This includes headers, page numbers, copyright notice, watermarks, etc.

• Upload the camera ready version (PDF) of your paper on EasyChair (using the Proceedings menu) NO LATER than the 23th of November.
4. After submitting your final paper, please go to the registration page to make the registration.
Remember that each paper MUST have at least one paid regular/normal registration, registered and paid until November 23, 2014!
